Vroom… vrroom… vrrrooom…… I could still dimly hear the engine sound of the grass cutter… Can’t blame me, I was cutting grass for the past 3 days while everyone was enjoying their 3 days of holiday plus weekends… My back still needs ‘Salonpas’ to relieve pain from muscle ache, arms could hardly raise up, hands tremble when I carry things, skin was burnt by the hot sun…… Just merely 3 days working in the Teak estate owned by my dad and my uncle, I’m already half dead, overwhelmed by the extreme tiredness… What to do, I was a library boy before this, couldn’t stand this high endurance job… I went down to Johor with dad for a week, actually dad wanted to clean up his Teak estate in Kota Tinggi which he has pay no attention to it for the past few years… As a result, the estate was covered with super weeds and plenty of wild plants… Our mission was to destroy all the wild plants and save the Teak plants… It sounds easy but after 3 days of hard work, we only managed to clean up roughly 1/6 of the whole estate…

Look at my costume, from top, NS cap, NS baju kelas, NS seluar kelas, and the best one is NS kasut kelas… Whole set of NS costume… Hmmm, it made me recalled back those times back in NS…

The newly bought grass cutter… Cost around 300 bucks, made in China…

Grass cutter in the house yo!

Look at the parang knife, imagine I was holding it for the past 3 days… I’m qualified enough to enter ‘黑社会’I suppose…

Here’s my super daddy according to sis, no doubt, he is superb… His energy and staying power is way beyond mine…

Before and after… *Sense of satisfaction*

My holiday was exhilarating so far, Langkawi trip is coming up next… After all this holiday is much more exciting than what I expected!

Cherish that which is within you, and shut off that which is without; for no one can anticipate what happens next…

MUFY 2009

Time wait for no man, before I could blink, it was already the end… Of course it is not the end of my whole pre-U life, it’s just the end of my first semester… Next semester, I’ll be having new lecturers, new course mates, new friends, new environment…… No more agonize faces… By just thinking about it, it makes me feel tired, have to make new friends all over again… Although I got to socialize with more people, but still, I prefer fixed classes…

Over the past 4 months, in the whole semester, I spent whole portion of time hiding in my second home – Library, I even got the address of “The-guy-who-enters-library-once-it-opens-and-leaves-when-it-about-to-close”… Thanks for that but no doubt, I feel most comfortable being in the library, you can group me in bookworms’ category, I am one… Learnt a lot too besides being in the library… Learnt to be a good listener, a real good professional listener… Sometimes it is better to be modest than to show everything you have to others…

Okay, first let me introduce my house mates… The B-17-01-ians…

From the left, Jun Wei, Alvin, Yong Hoi, Me and Chiew…

Although I treat my hostel as a sheer sleeping place, left it before the sun rises and reached home only when night falls… Still, four of my house mates are my closest friends in MUFY…

Jun Wei, he is the pro, salute him times infinity… Talk about studies, he is the top, talk about Dota, first place still belongs to him… At times I just envy him… Mind me, haha…

Alvin, my roommate, slept with me for the past few months… I meant slept in a same room but different beds don’t get me wrong… He’s taking medicine too for next year in Monash… Nice guy, very easy to get along…

Yong Hoi, the transformer… Noisy la, teasing him was a norm in the house, he was always the victim… But one thing that is for sure, he is superb in basketball… He has the centre’s height assorted with the shooter’s accuracy… 3 pointers, I can say, 80% accuracy… Wei Jen, did you hear that?

Chiew, yes, he is my moving pictures resource manager… He has approximately 40GB of movies and dramas in his laptop… Thanks to him, my holidays wouldn’t be so bored… Another fact of him, once he starts laughing, don’t hope that he’ll stop in a short while… So, best is don’t get him start laughing…

Next, MUFY classes…

BIOLOGY A2
Don’t ‘wow’, but you may ‘wahh’… I wasn’t lying, you can count the heads if you have time… 21 girls and 4 guys… Even the teacher is a female lecturer… Someone please tell me is this my good fortune or the opposite… Anyway, it has ended sweetly… I’m definitely joining Ms Rajes’s class again for Bio part B…

ENGLISG A16

I allow you all to ‘wow’ for this one, of the whole class, I am the only odd one… English class had always been the most interesting class… It is a small class with only 12 students… Maybe owing to this factor we got to know each other better…

COMPUTER SCIENCE A9
I’m not sure why I took this subject, but it was quite a good experience learning computer stuffs… It was not as easy as I thought, but at least I got to make a number of friends in this class… Not to mention that this is the only class where I got to relax and check mails during class time…

MATHEMATICS A9
Best class ever, best lecturer… I love you Miss Tan… Okay, I can’t help myself… To all who are taking Maths A next semester, join Miss Tan’s class, you will never regret… Too bad she’s not teaching Maths B, if not I’ll be the first one to sign up her class… The only teacher who was willing to spend time talking to her students one by one even when she was having bad migraine… Salute!

CHEMISTRY A7

Too bad no photo for this class, but I got to admit that as time goes by, I’ve learnt the most in this class… Lecturer Miss Nancy, although she is new, and works as a part time lecturer… But she has all good qualities that a great teacher should have… With her, I’ve gained not only the knowledge about Chemistry, but life perceptions as well…

That’s all for my first semester in MUFY, hopefully next semester will be a better one or at least equally good as this one…

Finally, I’ve got some space to breathe…

Did I just say breathe? Few hours before I need to know that breathing is an involuntary response whereby the chemoreceptors in the aortid and carotid body send nerve impulses to the cardiac respiratory centre in the medulla of the brain causing external intercostal muscle and diaphragm to contract therefore increasing the volume of thoracic cavity and draw in air to the lungs through inhalation, then when the stretch receptors in the wall of bronchioles detect the expansion of lungs, they will send nerve impulses to inhibit chemoreceptors from sending nerve impulses to the brain for 3 seconds and exhalation occurs passively… bla bla bla…

But now, all I know is every single breath of mine is the breath of joy, no more library-ing, at least for these two months… Got to play hard, and live like I’m dying for this precious sem break…

I seriously need a break, so sick and tired…

Guess what? I have an awesome plan for tonight… =)
